Posting stories on Medium is no longer worth the effort.
For the past two years, payouts to authors on Medium has steadily declined. Feedback from authors to Medium has been quite vocal, but Medium continues to lower author payments, likely because they simply can’t afford to pay at the rates they were once paying a couple years ago.
Today I have more subscribers, more views, and more reads than ever. Yet, I’m paid 1/20th what I was paid for half those numbers 2 or 3 years ago.
And no, it’s not just me, but a lot of authors have seen a steady drop in earnings.

Medium is not what it used to be, and I no longer earn enough on Medium to cover the $5/mo subscription. It is a shame, but times change, and that’s just how it is.
Putting my stories on Medium no longer provides any significant monetary value, and is pretty much a waste of my time. As a result, I will no longer be publishing my stories on Medium and have closed my Medium account.
However, many of my stories on Medium are now available in one of these sizzling hot erotica collections, conveniently grouped by theme!
